How Do You Fish In Lost Relics
To begin with you will need to purchase a fishing tool.
At level 1 the only fishing rod you can use is actually not a rod, but a net.
The net is called 'Crude Fishing Net'
It can be bought from the Emporium (located next to the big ham on the map, north of the tavern) for around 4 gold.
Or it can be made using Engineering. All you need is Skulk Silk & Indimar Vine. It is recommended to just buy it from the Emporium as it is much cheaper and easier that way.
Once you buy the Crude Fishing Net, you are ready to start fishing once you put it in your inventory!
Where To Fish In Lost Relics
The easiest difficulty map that has a fishing location in Lost Relics is Ash Woods, as shown in the image below.
Unfortunately there is no fishing spots in Forgotten Chambers. There is only a select few maps that offer fishing.
You can have a look at the map and look under 'resources' to see if any offer fish. If there is any fish listed under resources, you can be sure there is fishing locations there.
Ash Woods is a 2 sword difficulty which is a big step up from Forgotten Chambers. Be sure to bring some anti-poison potions and health regenerating food if it is your first time, as it can be quite hard.
Where To Find Fishing Spots
Once you enter a map which has fishing spots and your Crude Fishing Net equipped - look for the fish icon on the minimap or a patch of water with circles in it, as shown below. Just click on it and your character will begin fishing!
How To Get More Fishing Experience In Lost Relics
There is a new Epic virtual relic which provides 50% chance to give 15% more fishing experience.
This new item is called 'Fisherman's Friend' as shown below.
These can be found in a 'Gold Bounty Chest' or can be bought from the Emporium for a cool 125,000 gold.
