Okay let's be honest here - this card has to be one of the best Majin Vegeta artwork of any card in this whole card game. Comes from one of the most iconic scenes as well, sure to bring a tear to any true Vegeta fans eye.
It's not one of the most expensive right now, but it is pretty expensive considering it's from one of the newer sets.
Dragon Ball Super Trophy Cards
The most expensive Dragon Ball Super cards are trophy cards. These come from the 2019 National Championships.
They are up for a whopping $500,000. There was only 5 of each card ever produced and given out. This is the complete set of 1st, 2nd and 3rd trophy cards. Amazing collection with an amazing price tag. This is the equivalent to the Pikachu Illustrator card in the Pokemon world.
There were more trophy cards, finalist cards and participation cards given out during the 2019 National DBS Championships.
The cards above were given out to the top 16 players of the 2019 National Championships. There aren't any for sale right now and there hasn't been any sold to gather sales data from at this time. Any of these cards could fetch a price of anywhere from $50 to $10,000.
Due to the extremely limited supply of trophy cards, they can be priced at whatever the seller deems acceptable. They just might be waiting a long time for a buyer to come with a reasonable offer. Either way, trophy cards from the 2019 tournament are in extremely high demand.
Stamped Winner Cards
Dragon Ball Super has started to give out stamped 'Winner' cards to stores to run tournaments and give them out to winners. You can only receive winner cards by winning a store tournament.
This Son Goku & Vegeta Saiyan Synergy winner card has just been released and recently sold on eBay for $100. Which marks a new record for stamped winner cards.
Dragon Ball Super Judge Cards
Judge cards were only given out to judges of the Dragon Ball Super tournaments. In order to become a judge you would need to undergo a test set by Bandai to be qualified.
These are the Pokemon 'Staff' card equivalent in the DBS world.
The earlier judge cards from 2017 are the most sought after since they were the first ones ever released. The game was just starting and was new so not many stores were registered for tournaments. Therefore not many were distributed.
The Determined Super Saiyan Son Gohan Judge Stamped Promo P-016 is the most sought after Judge card followed by SS3 Goku, Rose Goku and Frieza from the Vol.1 Judge packs.
*UPDATE* We just received information that a BGS Black Label Determined Super Saiyan Son Gohan Judge card sold for $2,500 on eBay in mid 2020.
